All start-ups need to hire people.  We can do as much or as little as you would like in the hiring process.  We can run ads for you, screen candidates, and more. We are NOT a "temp" or placement agency but we can refer you to some if interested.  We do the basics for non-specialty hiring needs.
Interview training: Some business owners actually like to take the time to run an ad on Craig's list, screen hundreds of resumes, set up appointments, etc. For those do-it-yourselfers, we can offer one-on-one interview training.  Do you know what you can and cannot ask in an interview?  Do you really know what to look for in a candidate? 
 
O'Peka Consulting has specialists who have worked a decade or more learning the techniques needed in an interview process to find the right fit for your company.  We don't bake bread, build microchips, run a public agency, or  prepare tax returns. All companies (including non-profit organizations) should have a comprehensive and up-to-date, employee handbook. 
We know companies have avoided expensive lawsuits by having a well written handbook.  We believe "do-it-yourselfers" (even HR professionals) are practicing risky business when they buy a template or surf the net for an employee handbook.
 
For this reason we leave the legalities to the legal professionals.  We have partnered with one of the top law firms in the Sacramento Valley, to assist in these projects.
